Docmap® is designed specifically for handling the documentation required by safety management systems and incident reporting.
The system is designed according to the philosophy behind the original Japanese quality circle with 4 phases. This is such an important aspect, that we incorporated the quality circle in our logotype. The principles behind the ISO standards 9000 and14000 and the ISM code from IMO are also taken into consideration when designing the system.
The four phases in the quality circle are Plan – Do – Check – Act. Docmap® has three modules which cover the four phases. The module Governing Documents covers the Plan- and Do-phase. The module Audit & Inspection covers the Check-phase. The Observation & Improvement module covers the Act-phase.
In addition Docmap® consists of the module Docmap® Reports.
Docmap® Marine Suite is a preconfigured version for the shipping industry with an additional module, Docmap® Sync for satellite synchronisation of remote databases. Se more details below.

In the module Audit & Inspection you can plan, perform and follow up and report all scheduled activities like internal audits, external audits and different kind of operational meetings. The module is fully integrated with functionality like a question database, link to relevant documents in the Governing Documents and link to relevant reports in the Observation & Improvement module.The functionality in the module for Observation & Improvement is based on standard Basic Loss/ Causation Model and includes pre-configured HSE reports like Loss/Accident, Near Accident, Non conformity and Suggestions for improvements and follow-up actions. All reports are processed in a pre-set workflow based on report type and vessel type.

The Docmap® Marine Suite is a pre-configured solution especially made out for the shipping market. The pre-configuration is based on best practise in the quality and HSE management on board the vessels. The system is designed for fast track implementation.The Marine Suite includes a cost effective and well proven Ship to Shore Synchronisation setup. The main purpose is to keep critical information updated on the vessels which are not permanently connected to the master installation.
