The Digital Ship conference

The Digital Ship is one of the leading magazines and event companies for information technology in the deep sea commercial maritime industry in the world. The Digital Ship publishes a monthly magazine, organises five large conference / exhibitions every year in Hong Kong, Dubai, Oslo, Cyprus and Athens, and also a series of one day events. Docmap AS was a first time exhibitor in the event in Oslo, with the representatives Svein H. Syversen, Managing Director, Pål Widerøe, Head of Consulting Department and Svein Henriksen, Sales Manager.

Of particular interest for Docmap AS, Kari-Anne Larmerud, CIO and business architect with Barber Ship Management, held a presentation regarding implementation of new QA software at Wilhelmsen Maritime Services.

Docmap AS was during the presentation presented as a key supplier of web based software applications developed to manage, improve and streamline clients critical business processes regarding compliance to rules and regulations in the shipping industry. Docmap AS currently helps some of the worlds leading ship-owners to keep critical information updated via satellite to vessels all over the world. The solution covers all aspects with regards to safety, quality, environment, performance management and general reporting.
