A short version of the Docmap story...

The history of Docmap^® dates back to 1997. This year Intradoc was established as a joint venture between ErgoGroup AS, Achilles Systems AS and RC Gruppen AS. The purpose was to develop a software solution for governing documentation. The first customer was Norwegian Statoil.

In April 2002 Intradoc was bought by ErgoGroup AS and incorporated in ErgoEphorma AS. Up until May 2005 Docmap^® was administered as a part of ErgoEphormas software portfolio. At this point in time, Ergo's portfolio was re-organized and the software was bought out and Docmap AS was established as an independent company.

In this new constellation Docmap® got the focus the product deserves and a number of important contracts were signed during the following year.
