Handbooks and manuals

Docmap^® is an excellent tool for any type of handbooks or manuals. Instead of paper copies that have to be manually updated as soon as anything changes, a handbook kept in Docmap^® is easy to maintain.

The system ensures that users always have access to the correct version. External links can be used to refer to any complementary information such as laws, recommendations or other external sources. The handbook is accessed and maintained in the Governing Documents module and all functionality in the module is fully applicable to the content of a handbook.

By indexes users can navigate by chapters or headings and if a chapter is revised the dynamic index will automatically refer to the latest version. By search functionality, the chapter can also be found by name or document number. The search feature also includes text search as a possibility to find a certain place in the handbook.
