Docmap has been asked to present its solution in, ”case history” format, together with its customer Höegh Fleet Services at the London Tanker Safety Conference in November.  To start the presentation, Mr. Duncan Harwood, Docmap’s Key Account manager for the UK, the america’s and the middle east will briefly present the overall scope of Docmap Marine Suite 6.1 as well as new developments in its continuous improvement.

The common thread of Mr. Harwood’s part of the presentation will be the old adage “The Devil is in the details”.Höegh Fleet Services’ HSE/ISM Auditor, Mr. Geir Jørgensen’s part of the presentation, “Lessons learned from accidents at sea” will begin with how Höegh uses Docmap Marine Suite and its two-way, off-line replication between Ship and Shore to distribute and track changes to all company documentation. 

Mr. Jørgensen will also focus on the aspects of Docmap® that have laid the foundation for increased control and “buy-in” to their QA & HSE system across the LNG, and Autoliner fleets.  In addition to this Mr. Jørgensen will expand on how they use Docmap® to collect data pertaining to safety incidents and focus on the necessary changes. 
Mr. Jørgensen will then touch on how Höegh has integrated Docmap® into its worldwide organization to ensure quality data input and secure workflows.   He will also discuss the company values and thinking that, they find, must be nurtured in order to obtain benefits from such a system.
