2013: Record year for Docmap AS
Docmap AS is pleased to announce that 2013 was a record year for the company. Seven new contracts were signed with major clients all over the world. Among them, the leading container shipping group CMA Ships, CMA CGM Group in Marseille.
All these clients operate within the Shipping or Oil/Gas industries. With these new clients, more than 1100 Docmap® remote installations will run on vessels and rigs on all oceans, regularly synchronizing over satellite with master installations onshore.
In this way all information is updated and accessible at any time, wherever the more than 100 000 end users are located.
New functionality will be launched in Docmap® with these new contracts, benefitting all Docmap customers worldwide.
We welcome our new Docmap members and are looking forward to an equally great 2014.
New positions announcement
We are delighted to announce that Docmap AS has expanded to open a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday 2nd December 2013.
With the rapid growth of Docmap AS and the prospect of expanding our business in Asia-Pacific, we have established a new executive function: Senior Vice President.
- Developing the company’s market position in Asia-Pacific
- Building key customer relationships
- Representing the company at conferences, trade fairs
- Responsible for Sales in the region
Docmap AS is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Adiam Negassie to the position as Senior Vice President.
Adiam previously held the position as Consultant Manager at Docmap AS in Oslo, Norway. Her primary roles were to lead the Consultant team and to be responsible for the execution, delivery and quality for all projects within Quality Management and HSEQ.
Docmap also has the pleasure of announcing Mr. Volker Seyffert as the company HQ's new Consultant Manager and Adiam's successor.
Mr. Seyffert has been with the company for two years and served as Key account manager for some of our major customers. Through his work he has built up considerable expertise on customer solutions. He will now take on the responsibility for Docmap's consulting deliveries and coordination of associated resources.

Seabed Geosolutions chooses Docmap as supplier for Operating Management System
Oslo, Norway – 13th of September 2013 – Docmap AS, a global supplier of Quality Management System Software, today announced that Seabed Geosolutions has chosen Docmap to be the supplier for its global Operating Management System which Seabed Geosolutions internally calls Guardian.
The new solution will enhance the employee experience and drive operational efficiencies. The integrated platform will contain documentation from across the corporate business lines, providing Seabed Geosolutions’ management and employees with a consolidated, personalized solution for document and event/incident management.
