Docmap is hiring skilled people to meet future challenges from our customers. We are now pleased to announce that two new experienced consultants have joined the team in Oslo.
Mr. Erik Dieffenthaler will serve as a Technical Consultant in the Support Department. His professional expertise stems from many years as web developer and also as a consultant and systems developer. Erik has extensive experience from working with technologies that provide the foundation of Docmap® software, like MSSQL, Glassfish, IBM WebSphere, scripting, .Net and integration technologies. Mr. Dieffenthaler has already joined the support team in Docmap, helping our customers to get maximum benefit from their solutions.
Mr. Eric Swensson will serve as a Senior Business Consultant in the Consultant Department. His vast experience as database administrator is extremely valuable considering Docmap’s advanced use of complex database functionality. He has many years’ experience in design and implementation of document management solutions for various customers. Mr. Swensson’s professional career includes being a Java systems developer with , extensive experience from all phases of a development cycle - from design to test and implementation. With this strong background he will provide a solid addition to our team with deep knowledge of Docmap’s three layer Java application technologies.
Q1 2014: Increased demand for Docmap’s flagship HSEQ Solution
2014 continues as 2013 ended. All over the world Docmap is experiencing rising demand for its Docmap® HSEQ software solutions. This spring the company’s business consultants are running two main projects in North America; Major Shipping companies in Vancouver and Philadelphia. These two projects are handled by the local Docmap representative in Canada in close co-operation with Docmap in Norway.
In Europe, the company is managing main implementation projects in Athens and Marseille.
In addition, Docmap is delivering comprehensive projects for existing customers in London and Singapore. These are upgrade projects where customers are expanding the use of their Docmap solution.
In order to meet our increasing customers’ needs at the best possible service level, Docmap continues its recruiting processes in Oslo, Stavanger and Kuala Lumpur.
2013: Record year for Docmap AS
Docmap AS is pleased to announce that 2013 was a record year for the company. Seven new contracts were signed with major clients all over the world. Among them, the leading container shipping group CMA Ships, CMA CGM Group in Marseille.
All these clients operate within the Shipping or Oil/Gas industries. With these new clients, more than 1100 Docmap® remote installations will run on vessels and rigs on all oceans, regularly synchronizing over satellite with master installations onshore.
In this way all information is updated and accessible at any time, wherever the more than 100 000 end users are located.
New functionality will be launched in Docmap® with these new contracts, benefitting all Docmap customers worldwide.

Docmap takes off in Kuala Lumpur - New positions announcement
We are delighted to announce that Docmap AS has expanded to open a new office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on Monday 2nd December 2013.
With the rapid growth of Docmap AS and the prospect of expanding our business in Asia-Pacific, we have established a new executive function: Senior Vice President.

- Building key customer relationships
- Representing the company at conferences, trade fairs
- Responsible for Sales in the region
Docmap AS is pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Adiam Negassie to the position as Senior Vice President.
Adiam previously held the position as Consultant Manager at Docmap AS in Oslo, Norway. Her primary roles were to lead the Consultant team and to be responsible for the execution, delivery and quality for all projects within Quality Management and HSEQ.
Docmap also has the pleasure of announcing Mr. Volker Seyffert as the company HQ's new Consultant Manager and Adiam's successor.
Mr. Seyffert has been with the company for two years and served as Key account manager for some of our major customers. Through his work he has built up considerable expertise on customer solutions. He will now take on the responsibility for Docmap's consulting deliveries and coordination of associated resources.

The new solution will enhance the employee experience and drive operational efficiencies.
